24.10 Botium Release Notes

Release Date: 7th October 2024

New Features

  • AI Trust Suite GA including FactCheck Beta feedback: A new AI Trust Suite has been added as a beta feature in this release. After the beta period ends you may provide feedback should you wish to help improve the feature.
  • Open Base Test Session for FactCheck Projects: You can now open a base test session directly from the FactCheck Project's recent results. A new option is available under the 3-dot menu in the Actions column.

  • Support for custom OpenAI keys in the AI Trust Suite: By default, the AI Trust Suite is using Botium's OpenAI API key. We have now added support for you to add your own API key should you wish to use a different account. The API key can be added under the USERS & PERMISSIONS tab in Settings Botium Tools & Settings > Settings > Users & Permissions > API Keys

  • Timezone-based Test Scheduling: Users can now specify the Cron Timezone to use for test scheduling when creating new projects. A new dropdown menu enables users to specify the timezone they wish to use.

Note: This is an optional step. If you do not set a timezone, tests will continue use the timezone where your Botium instance is deployed.

Feature Updates

  • Test Set Translation for Bot Steps: Previously, the Botium Test Translator only translated USER steps. With this update, the translator will now also translate BOT steps as well as USER steps.
  • New Asserter: A new asserter is now available to add FactCheck capability to conversation flows in any of your existing test sets. This fact check assertion takes place using the same data that GPT4 is trained on.
  • FactCheck Improvements: The FactCheck feature was improved in terms of:
    • Accuracy
    • Consistency
    • Source of Truth support (more and bigger data allowed)
    • Result States and Result Explanations
    • UI + UX

Issue Fixes

  • Repeat Test Session - Error (BOT-5271): An error encountered when clicking the REPEAT TEST SESSION button has been fixed.
  • Inconsistent data shown for Test Sessions (BOT-5282): Misleading server-side times were removed from the Test Session header
  • Various Snyk vulnerabilities were fixed
  • Various Design bug fixes
