Convert Excel to Botium using the Test Set Splitter

  1. Navigate Using the Left Pane: On the left navigation pane, head to Botium Tools & Settings > Test Data Wizard
  2. Test Set Splitter: Select the Test Set Splitter from the list of options on the page.
  3. Search: Search for, and select, the Test Set you want to split.
  4. Convert: Set the Percentage for the first part to 100 and leave the other as is.
  5. Click the SPLIT button to begin converting the Excel format to Botium.
    Tip:

    After clicking the button there will be two new test sets created - one contains all of our test cases from Excel. The other one holds nothing and can be removed. This will be indicated with a warning because it contains no user examples.



  6. Clicking into the new Test Set (Training) will now show the convos and utterances in the visual test case editor. Botium Tools & Settings > Test Sets > Your Converted Test Set > Test Cases
    Note: You will need to create a new Test Project to use the newly created test set for further test runs.
