Interpreting the Crawler Results

On the Overview tab you can see the results of the last Crawler Session. Here you also have an option to repeat the Crawler Session.

Where to find your results?

To see your crawler results, navigate to Botium Tools & Settings > Test Data Wizard > Crawler Wizard, and select your project from the list.

Interpreting the results

On the Overview tab you can see the results of the last crawler session. Here you also have an option to repeat the crawler session.
Note: How long a session takes to complete will depend on the size/depth of the chatbot. The "Wait for Prompt" configuration parameter also has a big impact.
In this example 44 conversations have been generated (32 of the conversations reached the specified depth, but 12 of them finished earlier). If you scroll down from the session summary you can see the detailed result.

Tip: Here you also have the option to REPEAT a crawler session
If you scroll down from the session summary you can see the detailed results.

Open-ended questions

In cases where you have conversations which have stopped due to open-ended question, you can add user responses to these by clicking the 3-dot icon to the left of the bot response . You can also remove the "end of conversation" marker to add additional responses to conversations.

If you rerun the crawler session, the user responses you enter will be handled by the crawler as if they were quick replies or buttons found on that specific path.

Example: In this example I've added 'Tomorrow' and 'Wednesday' as user responses to the question "Which date would be best for you." In the conversation flow diagram, you can see that the crawler uses these responses on the corresponding paths.

Flow View

You can also check the whole conversation model on the Flow View tab. This feature allows you to visualize the entire conversation model as a diagram. It helps you see the complete flow of interactions in a conversation, making it easier to understand and analyze. The interactive features enable you to:
  • engage with the diagram directly
  • enhance usability
  • save the conversation model as a PNG image for reference or sharing
